Privacy Policy

Effective 28 October 2026. Creelbook is a private fishing logbook for Android published by Loadcircle Ltd (England and Wales). This policy describes the whole of our data practices, because there is almost nothing to describe: the app works entirely on your device.

What the app does

Creelbook keeps your fishing logbook — catches, species, waters, tackle, companions and photos — on your device. Entries are written locally in the app's own database. The app performs no uploads of your log, your photos or your fishing marks, ever.

What we collect

• Nothing on our servers. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no advertising networks.
• No personal data leaves your device through the app itself. The only network traffic is between the app and Google Play Billing.

Data stored on your device

• The log: catches, waters (including any coordinates you type in yourself), tackle, companions and notes, in the app's private database.
• Catch photos: a photo you attach is copied into the app's own private storage. It is never uploaded.
• Coordinates are typed, never tracked: the app does not request the device's location. A water's coordinates appear only if you type them in.

Export

Your log leaves your device only when you export it (JSON or CSV) and choose where it goes. Export is free and always available.

Permissions

• Photos: the app reads only the photo you pick in the system photo picker, and copies it into private storage. It does not request broad photo or storage permissions.
• Location: not requested.
• Internet: declared only because the Google Play Billing libraries require it. Purchases are processed by Google Play.

Purchases and subscriptions

Creelbook Pro is available as a one-time purchase or an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) through Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy. The app stores only a local note that the account holds Pro. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period in your Google Play settings. The free tier keeps the whole log readable and exportable with or without Pro.

Children

Creelbook is intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR / EU GDPR you may contact us about any personal data we hold. As described above, we hold none on our side; the data the app keeps is on your device and under your control. Should our practices ever change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
